IDP 659112 half-color ribbon consists of half-size yellow (Y), magenta (M), and cyan (C) panels, for printing a full spectrum of colors through combining the colors using varying degrees of heat. The full-size resin black (K) panel is used for printing text and barcodes, and the overlay (O) panel is a thin protective panel that is applied to the card surface.

The IDP 659112 ribbon kit includes Y, M, and C half panels and a full-size resin K and clear O panels. The kit also includes cleaning roller and is for use with IDP Smart-70 card printers.

Half-panel ribbons allow you to print color on up to half the length of a standard CR80-size PVC card, while resin black may be printed on any area of the card. If you're only printing full-color on part of your cards, IDP 659112 half panel ribbons allow twice the normal ribbon yield than a standard YMCKO ribbon.

You can shop with confidence at ID Wholesaler, knowing you will only receive genuine IDP 659112 ribbons. We never sell generic, imitation ribbons - using non-IDP certified supplies can void your printer's warranty.

Did you know that IDP 659112 color ribbons have a shelf life?

When stored under proper conditions, IDP 659112 dye-sublimation color ribbons typically have a shelf life of up to one year. Ribbons that are more than a year old, and improperly stored, will not print optimally and will likely end up costing more money and time in maintenance and in reprinting cards.

ID Wholesaler is an authorized IDP reseller specializing in ID card printing products. We guarantee that our 659112 ribbons are genuine IDP ribbons, are properly stored, and are always 'fresh'.

How do you find your ribbon's shelf life?
To find whether your ribbon is past its shelf life, look for the manufactured date above the part number on the sticker on the box.
