You can depend on the IDP SMART-BIT Ribbon Shredder to completely destroy your organization's direct-to-card and retransfer ID card printer ribbons. Similar to a photograph's negative, the ribbons from ID card printers include printed cardholder information, employee photos, ID numbers, etc. When card printer ribbons are discarded without being shredded, your organization risks the criminal duplication of this sensitive data to create counterfeit credentials.
With the compact, lightweight 651577 SMART-BIT Shredder, you'll get more peace of mind when your used ribbons are properly destroyed. This state-of-the-art machine is equipped with:
- Dependable ribbon shredding With a patent-pending twits and cut motion, the IDP's Twisted Micro-cut Technology completely shreds card printer ribbons into extremely small, unrecognizable ribbon particles.
- Dynamic design The SMART-BIT Shredder's compact, lightweight design makes it the optimal choice for even the smallest offices.
- Industry-agnostic compatibility This forward-thinking machine was engineered to shred ID card printer ribbons of all brands -both direct-to-card and retransfer printer ribbons. The IDP 651577 Shredder is the intelligent addition to your card issuance program.
- Simplified cleaning The IDP 651577 Ribbon Shredder comes equipped with a convenient catch-all bag that gathers the shredded ribbon bits into a single place. Cleaning is as easy as emptying the waste bag!
